Requests arrive, files are exchanged, contact details are copied, replies are repeated and project status becomes unclear. The issue is usually not one missing tool — it is the missing connection between steps.
I design n8n workflows around the process that actually needs improvement: contact intake, team communication, upload and download handling, data processing, file delivery or customer-specific automation with local AI where it fits the data and the task.
Automation should remove repetitive friction, not silently make consequential decisions. Critical communication, review and approval steps can remain explicitly human-controlled.
An explainable video workflow — from source files to review-ready output.
Video production contains a large amount of work around the edit: receiving files, preparing media, transcription, analysis, marker suggestions, review documentation, rendering and archiving. Those steps are easy to repeat badly and hard to track consistently.
The video introduces Nomadic Video Automation as a working MVP: Nextcloud input, n8n orchestration, structured Baserow records, local AI-supported analysis, DaVinci Resolve processing and review-oriented documentation. The editorial decision remains human; the system reduces avoidable friction around it.
The presenter in this explainer is an openly disclosed AI-avatar representation of me. The purpose is not to disguise synthetic media, but to demonstrate how tools can be used transparently inside a controlled communication workflow.
